Questions
Ten things people ask first. If yours is missing, ask us.
Do I need to code?
No. Fluent, Trust, Venture and Applied and faculty need no code. Build and Systems involve working with code, but the AI does the typing and you learn to read, run and judge what it wrote. If you have never coded, say so on your first day and we will start from there.
Can I sit the assessment without the course?
The academy does not control entry; AIQ Institute does. Our course is preparation, not a condition we impose. Check the institute's current rules for the level you want before you book.
Who certifies me?
Assessment and certification are conducted by AIQ Institute, an independent standards body; assessment fees are paid to the institute directly. The academy does not issue the certificate and does not mark your assessment.
What is the refund rule?
Indicative: a full refund up to the end of week one, half up to the end of week two, none after that. If we cancel or move your cohort you can transfer or take a full refund. See the pricing page.
Do I need a laptop?
Yes, bring one. Any laptop from the last five years is enough, because the heavy work runs on hosted machines that we set up for the lab. A phone alone will not do for the Saturday labs.
What language are sessions taught in?
English, with plain explanations and examples in Hindi in the labs when learners ask. In-house batches can ask for other languages, subject to faculty availability.
When are the evening sessions?
Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 pm IST, plus a Saturday lab from 10 am to 1 pm. Timings are indicative until the first intake. Sessions are recorded for those who miss one.
Can my company be invoiced?
Yes. We issue GST invoices, accept purchase orders, and price either per seat or per batch. Tell us your approval process and we will fit our paperwork to it.
Can a housing society book a batch?
Yes. Societies are priced per batch, on request. Residents usually start with the safety drill, scam handling and everyday tools, in daytime or weekend slots that suit the committee.
What does level 1 mean?
Level 1 is called Spark: you have seen AI work and you know where it breaks. AIQ Institute assesses it with a 25 minute adaptive live oral and practical. Levels 2 and 3, Torch and Beam, ask you to do real work with AI every day and then to deliver outcomes for other people.
